The short answer

Five users on Jobber Grow is $229 a month billed annually, or $299 with no commitment. Plus is $399 to $499.

Jobber's Grow and Plus plans each have a 5-user tier, so five technicians fit without paying per-seat fees. Add an office manager or the owner as a sixth user and each extra person is $29 a month. Card fees are the bigger variable: on $25,000 a month collected by card, Jobber's 2.9% + 30c is about $740, more than three times the Grow subscription.

Subscription at 5 users

Five users, per month

5 users, per monthBilled annually1-year, billed monthlyNo commitmentHow we got it
Jobber Grow$229$259$2995-user tier
Jobber Plus$399$439$4995-user tier

Jobber Connect and Core are left out: Worthd could not confirm a 5-user Connect price on the pricing page, and Core includes one user with no published add-user price.

When the crew is six or seven

Five technicians plus an office person

Each user beyond the 5-user tier is $29 a month. Where the next tier up is cheaper, buy that instead. Worthd's arithmetic from the published prices, billed annually:

Billed annually5 users6 users7 users8 users
Jobber Grow$229$258 (229 + 29)$287 (229 + 58)$299 (10-user tier)
Jobber Plus$399$428 (399 + 29)$449 (10-user tier; 5-user tier plus 2 extras would be $457)$449 (10-user tier)

On Grow, the 10-user tier ($299) becomes the better buy once you pass seven users. On Plus it is the better buy from seven users.

What the headline price leaves out

Card fees, extra users and add-ons

ItemJobber, as published
Card payments2.9% + 30c
Bank (ACH) payments1%
Tap to Pay / mobile2.7% + 30c
Extra user$29 a month (Connect, Grow, Plus)
Paid add-onsMarketing Suite $99, Pipeline $49, Receptionist $29 a month
Worked example (illustration only): a 5-technician shop collects $25,000 a month across 50 invoices, all by card. Card fees: 2.9% = $725, plus 50 x 30c = $15, so about $740. If $10,000 of that (20 invoices) moves to bank payments at 1%, card fees fall to about $444 (2.9% of $15,000 = $435, plus 30 x 30c = $9) and the bank fee is $100, a total of about $544. That is roughly $196 a month saved, close to the cost of Grow itself. Your volume and mix will differ: this shows how to check, not what you will pay.
All-in view

Grow at 5 users, billed annually, with the example above

$229 subscription + about $740 card fees = about $969 a month, and about $773 when part of the volume moves to bank payments. Paid add-ons would come on top. In this example, how customers pay moves the bill more than choosing Grow over Plus (a $170 gap).

Contract terms

What you commit to

Jobber prices every plan three ways: no commitment, a 1-year commitment billed monthly, or billed annually. At 5 users Grow runs $229, $259 or $299, so a year of annual billing saves $840 over no commitment ($70 x 12). Check Jobber's pricing page for current trial terms. Cancellation and refund terms are not on the pricing page: read Jobber's terms before you sign a year.

When Jobber may not fit

Skip Jobber if your card volume is high and you cannot move customers to bank payments, or if you only need scheduling for 2 to 3 people and do not want to pay for a 5-user tier. Check whether Marketing Suite, Pipeline or Receptionist are needed: each adds $29 to $99 a month.
