Contractor Foreman is the lowest at 1, 3, 8, 10, 12 and 15 users; at 5 users Housecall Pro Essentials is $17 less ($149 against $166). At 1 user it is $2 under Tradify Pro and $10 under Housecall Pro Basic. The gap is $63 a month at 5 users against Jobber Grow ($166 against $229) and $178 at 15 ($221 against $399). Jobber and Housecall Pro prices come from Worthd's Jobber pricing page and Housecall Pro pricing page, billed annually; Tradify has no annual price, so it is monthly. Contractor Foreman is annual billing in this table: on monthly billing, 8 users cost $199 (Plus) and 15 cost $279 (Pro). The tools are not the same product: Contractor Foreman is project and construction management, while Jobber and Housecall Pro are built around service calls and dispatch.

A user cap is a hard line: a 9th person on Plus means moving to Pro, a $55 a month step on annual billing ($221 against $166). Card payments are the larger variable: at $10,000 a month collected by card at 2.9% + $0.30, fees are about $290 plus the per-payment $0.30, against a $10 maximum on each ACH payment. See what bank transfer saves instead of card fees.

Who it fits

Contractor Foreman suits general contractors, remodelers and builders who run jobs as projects (estimates, change orders, budgets, schedules) and have a crew of 3 to 15 who would each cost a per-seat price elsewhere. The flat plan means adding a 6th or 7th person on Plus costs nothing.

Who it may not fit

Repair and maintenance shops that dispatch many short service calls a day, where Jobber or Housecall Pro are built around that work; one-person businesses that only need a basic scheduler; and anyone who needs a single published monthly price for Basic.

Frequently asked

Contractor Foreman pricing questions

How much does Contractor Foreman cost per month?

Contractor Foreman has five plans. On annual billing they are Basic $49 (1 user), Standard $105 (up to 3 users), Plus $166 (up to 8 users), Pro $221 (up to 15 users) and Unlimited $332 (unlimited users) a month. On monthly billing Standard is $139, Plus $199, Pro $279 and Unlimited $399; Basic is shown on annual billing only.

Does Contractor Foreman charge per user?

No. Each plan is a flat monthly price with a user cap: 1, up to 3, up to 8, up to 15, or unlimited. A 5-person crew pays the Plus price of $166 a month on annual billing, the same as 8 people.

Is Contractor Foreman cheaper than Jobber?

At 8 to 15 users on annual billing, yes: $166 to $221 a month against $299 to $399 for Jobber Grow. At 5 users it is $166 against $229. At 1 user, no: Basic is $49 against $149 for Jobber Grow, but Jobber's plan is built around service calls while Contractor Foreman is built around construction projects, so the features differ.

Does Contractor Foreman have a free trial?

Yes. Annual plans show a 30-day free trial and are charged the annual amount at the end of it; the FAQ says monthly plans are charged immediately. Cancel before the trial ends through Settings > Subscription > Cancel.

What are Contractor Foreman's payment processing fees?

If your clients pay online, the pricing page lists Visa, Mastercard and Discover at 2.9% + $0.30, American Express at 3.9% + $0.30, and ACH bank transfer at 1% + $0.30 capped at $10. At $10,000 a month, ACH costs at most $10 per payment against about $290 in card fees.

What is the refund policy?

The pricing page advertises a 100-day money-back guarantee on Plus, Pro and Unlimited annual plans and 30 days on monthly plans. Downgrades leave the price difference as a non-refundable credit for the next renewal. Read the full Refund and Cancellation Policy before buying.

Is there a setup fee?

Setup and implementation are listed as free on Pro and Unlimited. The page does not list them as free on Basic, Standard or Plus, and it does not give a setup price. Ask before you sign.
