Chimney sweep software cost: what a solo sweep and a 3-person shop pay a year

ServiceMonster, Bella FSM and Jobber priced from their own pages for a sweep and inspection route: the yearly bill for one person and for three, the contract catch, and what card fees add.

Prices checked Nov 8, 2026Reviewed by Worthd EditorialUS dollarsUpdated Nov 8, 2026
The short answer

A solo sweep pays about $348 to $960 a year, and a 3-person shop about $660 to $1,800. At three people, Bella FSM costs about a third of ServiceMonster or Jobber, and it has no term contract.

Bella FSM is the lowest at $35 a month for one user ($420 a year) and $55 for three ($660). ServiceMonster's cheapest plan is $79.99 a month billed annually, about $960 a year solo, and its Grow plan for five users is about $1,800. ServiceMonster's FAQ says every plan requires an annual commitment; Bella says no term contract. Neither prints a card rate. On $6,000 a month of card payments, Jobber's 2.9% plus 30 cents is about $2,232 a year, which is more than any subscription here for a shop of three.

Each vendor's own pages, read Nov 8, 2026 (Bella FSM pricing, Bella FSM chimney page, ServiceMonster pricing, Jobber chimney page). ServiceMonster's pricing page names carpet, window and pressure washing, and Worthd could not confirm from here that it still markets to chimney sweeps. A 2024 "$300 off Premier" promotion still on its page is not counted. Bella's "limited-time discount" banner shows no terms and is not counted.

The yearly bill

First 12 months, software only, before tax

Yearly cost for a solo sweep and a 3-person shop
Tool and planSolo (1 user)3-person shop
Bella FSM$420 ($35 x 12)$660 ($55 x 12). With QuickBooks Integration, $780 ($65 x 12)
ServiceMonster, billed annually$960 ($79.99 x 12, Basic)$1,800 ($149.99 x 12, Grow, 5 licenses)
ServiceMonster, monthly rate$1,200 ($99.99 x 12), still on an annual commitment per its FAQ$2,400 ($199.99 x 12)
Jobber Core / Connect$348 Core, or $1,188 Connect (1 user), billed annually$1,788 Connect (5 users), billed annually; $2,388 no commitment

Worthd arithmetic from the prices above, before tax and card fees, rounded to the dollar. Bella's QuickBooks Integration add-on is $10 a month; none of the other Bella add-ons are included. A 3-person shop on ServiceMonster needs Grow because Basic has one license. Per Worthd's Jobber page, automatic payment collection starts on Connect, not Core.

Card fees

About $2,232 a year on $6,000 a month

A shop doing 40 jobs a month at $150 each takes in $6,000. At Jobber's 2.9% plus 30 cents that is $174 plus $12, about $186 a month. That is more than the $55 a month Bella charges a 3-person shop. Bella and ServiceMonster do not print their card rates, so ask for them in writing before you compare. Your own job count and average ticket change this; it is an example, not a benchmark.

Who is wrong for what

Where each price can mislead you

ServiceMonster's lowest figure is an annual-billing rate on a plan its own FAQ calls an annual commitment, so a slow winter does not pause it. Bella's $35 includes one user and no add-ons, and its annual price and setup fee are not published. Jobber Core is one user only, and the step to Connect for a crew is a large jump.

Seasonal cost

Sweeps book October to January, but the bill runs all year

Chimney work is concentrated in fall and winter. A month-to-month tool like Bella ($35) can be cancelled in spring and restarted in September, which would cut a solo shop's yearly bill to about $245 if it ran seven months (7 x $35). Worthd has not confirmed that Bella lets you pause or reactivate without fees, so ask first. A tool with an annual commitment cannot be cut that way. See the contract and cancellation terms Worthd checked for the larger tools.

A note on the rankings

Who wrote the comparison pages you will find

When Worthd searched this topic on Nov 8, the results were mostly roundups and vendor posts: listicles on agiled.app and vev.co, a method.me list dated December 2025, a QuoteIQ post, and vendor pages. None priced software for a stated crew size with the date read. This page is different in one way only: the numbers come from each vendor's pricing page with the date read, and Worthd earns nothing from Bella FSM or ServiceMonster. Other tools named in those roundups, such as The Sweeps App and The New Flat Rate, could not be read from here and are not priced.
