Worthd cost check for window cleaners

Window cleaning software cost: what a route pays

Markate, Housecall Pro, Jobber and The Customer Factor priced from their own pages for a window cleaner running recurring routes with 1 to 5 people, plus what each one prints about window-specific work.

Prices checked Nov 4, 2026Reviewed by Worthd EditorialUS dollars, billed annually unless statedUpdated Nov 4, 2026
The short answer

A solo window cleaner pays $551.40 a year on Markate or $1,188 on Jobber Connect. An owner with two employees pays $671.40 on Markate against $1,788 on Housecall Pro or Jobber.

Markate is the cheapest per-person model, at $45.95 plus $5 a month for each employee. Housecall Pro and Jobber sell bundles of users, so they cost the same at 3 and 5 people. The Customer Factor prints $44.95 for unlimited employees, but its price tag shows an unfilled placeholder, so confirm that number on the live page. The page also says the current price may not last because pricing will move to three tiers. Only Housecall Pro's page names window-specific features, and those are vendor claims.

Quoting-only and route-priced options

ResponsiBid and GorillaDesk

ResponsiBid is a quoting tool for window cleaning and pressure washing: Startup is free, Scaling is $179 a month and Pro is $229, with annual prices unpublished. Its July 2026 policy makes payments non-refundable, charges $50 a month to pause for up to 4 months and $25 to reactivate. GorillaDesk does not name window cleaning, but prices by route with unlimited users: Basic $49, Pro $99, Growth $149 a month for the first route, so three routes on Basic are $149.

The "$993 a month" claim

Worthd could not reproduce it

Some comparison posts put a Jobber setup for window cleaners near $993 a month. Jobber's own list prices are $299 a month for 10 users on Grow, billed annually, plus $29 for each person past that. If a post's total is far higher, it is adding plans or add-ons Worthd has not priced. Ask for the line items before you trust the number.

Card fees

Only Jobber and Housecall Pro print a rate

Jobber charges 2.9% + 30 cents on cards and 1% on US bank payments. Housecall Pro prints card rates "as low as 2.59%" and 1% on bank payments, with no per-transaction amount stated. Illustration only: a route of 60 jobs a month at $180 ($10,800) all by card is $331.20 on Jobber, against $108 by bank transfer, a $223.20 gap. The same $10,800 at 2.59% is $279.72 before any per-transaction fee. Markate, The Customer Factor and ResponsiBid do not print processing rates, so ask before you compare totals.

Who it fits

Solo cleaner on a tight budget: Markate at $45.95 or The Customer Factor at $44.95 once the price is confirmed. Owner plus 2 to 4 who want pane-and-story quoting and rain-day notices: Housecall Pro Essentials at $149 is the only one of these that names those features, at $1,116.60 a year more than Markate with two employees. Wants the simplest route and card-on-file billing: Jobber Connect at $149 for up to 5 people.

Who it is wrong for

Housecall Pro Basic for anyone with a second user: Basic is 1 user and extra users are not sold below Max. Jobber for a cleaner who wants pane-count quoting built in, since its page names none. The Customer Factor for a crew that needs a confirmed list price today. Not covered: QuoteIQ and Window Cleaner Pro, whose prices Worthd could not read on Nov 4.

Frequently asked

Window cleaning software questions

What does window cleaning software cost for a solo cleaner?

From vendor pages checked Nov 4, 2026, billed annually: Markate Owner Operator $45.95 a month, Housecall Pro Basic $59, Jobber Connect $99 for 1 user, and The Customer Factor $44.95 if its page copy holds (the price tag itself shows an unfilled placeholder). Monthly billing costs more: Markate $49.95, Housecall Pro $79 (printed on its pricing page).

What does it cost for an owner plus 2 employees?

Markate is $55.95 a month (base plus $5 per employee), Housecall Pro Essentials $149 (5 users), Jobber Connect $149 (up to 5 users) and The Customer Factor $44.95 (unlimited employees). Over a year that is $671.40, $1,788, $1,788 and $539.40.

Which tools name window cleaning on their own pages?

Housecall Pro and Jobber each have a window cleaning software page, and The Customer Factor lists window cleaners among its users. Markate's pricing page names window cleaning, but its industry page returned a not-found body on Nov 4, so Worthd does not cite one.

Is a $993 a month Jobber setup real?

Worthd could not reproduce that figure from Jobber's current plans. Jobber Grow is $299 a month billed annually for 10 users, and each extra person is $29. Any post quoting a much larger total is adding items Worthd has not priced; ask it for the line items.

Do these tools handle rain delays and before-and-after photos?

Housecall Pro's window cleaning page says it can automatically notify customers when rain-delayed visits are rescheduled and lets you upload before-and-after photos. Those are vendor claims; Worthd did not test them. Jobber's page names job details such as the number of windows and photos, but no pane-count quoting.

Which window cleaning software has a free trial?

Housecall Pro 14 days with no card, Jobber 14 days with no card, Markate 14 days with no card, The Customer Factor a 30-day risk-free period (card requirement not printed). ResponsiBid publishes no trial, only a demo.
