The short answerA solo hauler pays $29.99 to $149 a month. An owner plus two helpers pays $124.99 on QuoteIQ or $149 on Jobber Connect and Housecall Pro Essentials, which is $1,788 a year on those two.
Workiz, Docket and ServiceCore, three names junk haulers meet often, print no subscription price: each says to book a demo or request pricing. Docket does print its card rates. Bin Boss no longer appears to exist, since binboss.com redirects to a domain-for-sale page. The totals below use only tools that publish a price, and every figure carries its billing term.

Worthd arithmetic from each vendor's pricing page, Nov 3 and 4, 2026. QuoteIQ prints monthly prices of Essentials $29.99 (1 user), Beginner $99.99 (2 users), Pro $199.99 (4 users), Elite $299.99 (10 users), plus $25 for each additional user; the cells show the cheapest mix for that headcount (3 people: Beginner + 1 user; 6 people: Beginner + 4 users), and the cheaper plans leave out features such as route optimization, which starts on Elite. Its annual price is ten times the monthly price. Housecall Pro: Basic $59 (1 user), Essentials $149 (5 users), Max $299 (8 users), billed annually. Jobber: bundles of 1, 5, 10 and 15 users plus $29 for each extra person, from Worthd's Jobber pricing page. Monthly billing costs more at Jobber and Housecall Pro.
Dumpster and roll-off rentalDumpster Rental Systems is priced by cans, not people
Dumpster Rental Systems plans and prices| Plan | Price a month | Per year | What the page prints |
| Launch | $79.99 | $959.88 | Under 10 cans; guided setup costs extra, amount not published |
|---|
| Core | $199.95 | $2,399.40 | Up to 20 cans; shown as reduced from $229.95; $299 website build fee ($2,698.40 in year one) |
|---|
| Premium | $279.95 | $3,359.40 | Reduced from $299.95; Route IQ with 1 driver, each additional driver $25 a month ($3,659.40 a year with 2 drivers) |
Dumpster Rental Systems pricing page, read Nov 4, 2026. It is built for roll-off dumpster rental, not a truck-and-crew junk hauler, so use it only if you rent dumpsters. The page does not say whether the reduced prices need monthly billing, and its FAQ still quotes $79.95 for Launch. It says it does not charge by user, lists no free trial, and says onboarding takes up to 30 days.
Quote-only and unreadableFive names that give you no number
Junk removal tools that publish no subscription price| Tool | What Worthd could read on Nov 3 and 4 |
| Workiz | All plans say Request pricing; 7-day trial; its junk removal page says it is used by over 3,000 haulers. See Workiz pricing for the 12-month term and yearly rise. |
|---|
| Docket | Grow, Pro and Pro Plus; no subscription prices, "schedule a personalized demo". Card 3.0% + 30 cents on Grow and 2.8% + 30 cents on Pro and Pro Plus; bank payments 1%. |
|---|
| ServiceCore | Start and Pro, "best for operators that have multiple trucks"; demo for a price. Billed monthly on an annual contract; onboarding 6 to 12 weeks. |
|---|
| Hauler Hero | Price shown on the vendor's site, not captured: its pricing page returned an error on Nov 4. |
|---|
| Bin Boss | binboss.com redirected to a domain-for-sale page on Nov 4, although Docket's blog still compares it. Treat it as gone until proven otherwise. |
A quote-only tool is not a bad tool. It just cannot go in a cost table, so ask for the per-truck price, the processing rate and the contract length in writing before you compare it with the rows above.
Card fees on a typical dayAssume 40 jobs a month at $250
That assumption is Worthd's, not a vendor figure: 40 jobs at $250 is $10,000 a month. All by card on Jobber at 2.9% + 30 cents is $302 ($290 plus $12). On Docket Grow at 3.0% + 30 cents it is $312, and on Docket Pro at 2.8% + 30 cents $292. Housecall Pro's "as low as 2.59%" is $259 before any per-transaction fee, which it does not state. The same $10,000 paid by US bank transfer at 1% is $100 on Jobber, Housecall Pro and Docket, a $202 gap against Jobber cards. At those volumes the processing line is bigger than the $99 Jobber Connect solo price. QuoteIQ, Dumpster Rental Systems, Workiz and ServiceCore print no rates, so ask first. More in contractor payment software fees and getting paid by bank transfer.
Routing and trial termsWhat each page prints about routes, trials and contracts
Routing, trial and contract terms by tool| Tool | Routing | Trial | Contract and cancellation |
| QuoteIQ | Route optimization from Elite ($299.99 monthly) | 14 days, card required | Month-to-month, no contract, cancel anytime; refund policy not published. Prices from its own page dated Sep 15, 2026 |
|---|
| Dumpster Rental Systems | Route IQ with 1 driver on Premium | Not published | Not published on the pricing page |
|---|
| Housecall Pro | Not confirmed by Worthd | 14 days, no card | No long-term contracts. See Housecall Pro pricing |
|---|
| Jobber | Not confirmed by Worthd | 14 days, no card | Annual payments non-refundable. See Jobber pricing |
Housecall Pro's /industries/junk-removal/ address showed an advertising article, not an industry page, on Nov 4, and its Industries menu does not list junk removal. Worthd therefore does not claim a junk-specific feature set for it. Test a real week of jobs in the free trial before you move.
Who it fitsSolo hauler on a budget: QuoteIQ Essentials at $29.99 monthly, if you can live without route optimization. Owner plus 2 helpers who want a flat annual price: Jobber Connect or Housecall Pro Essentials at $149, the same $1,788 a year. Two trucks, 6 people: Jobber Connect at $178 a month is $121 a month, or $1,452 a year, below Housecall Pro Max at $299 ($3,588 less $2,136).
Who it is wrong forHousecall Pro Basic for anyone with a second user, since extra users are not sold below Max. A roll-off dumpster renter on a general field app that has no dumpster-by-the-day logic, who should look at Dumpster Rental Systems, Docket or ServiceCore and get a written quote. Anyone who needs a number today from Workiz: it does not publish one.
Claims we could not matchTwo numbers you will see elsewhere
Comparison posts quote Workiz Pro at about $249.99 a month; Workiz's own pricing page prints Request pricing on every plan (checked Nov 3), so that figure does not come from Workiz. Others say a 2-truck shop pays "$100 to $300 a month": that range does match the published rows above for 6 people ($178 on Jobber Connect to $299 on Housecall Pro Max), but it leaves out card fees, which were $302 on the example above.
Frequently askedJunk removal software questions
What does junk removal software cost for one truck?
From vendor pages checked Nov 3 and 4, 2026: QuoteIQ Essentials $29.99 a month (1 user, monthly billing), Housecall Pro Basic $59 and Jobber Connect $99 (both 1 user, billed annually). Dumpster Rental Systems is priced by can count, not users: Launch $79.99 a month, for dumpster rental rather than truck-and-crew hauling.
What does it cost for an owner plus two helpers?
Jobber Connect and Housecall Pro Essentials are each $149 a month billed annually ($1,788 a year). QuoteIQ is $124.99 a month on monthly billing: Beginner at $99.99 includes 2 users and one more is $25 (Worthd arithmetic, $1,499.88 a year), but its route optimization starts on a higher plan. Jobber Grow is $229 a month ($2,748 a year).
Does Workiz publish a price for junk removal?
No. Workiz's pricing page prints Request pricing on all three plans (checked Nov 3). Some comparison posts quote a Workiz Pro figure near $249.99 a month; that number is not on Workiz's own page. Workiz's junk removal page says it is used by over 3,000 haulers, with no prices.
Which junk removal software charges the lowest card fee?
Jobber is 2.9% + 30 cents on cards and 1% on US bank payments. Docket prints 3.0% + 30 cents on Grow and 2.8% + 30 cents on Pro and Pro Plus, with 1% on bank payments, but publishes no subscription price. Housecall Pro prints cards from 2.59%, with no per-transaction amount stated, and 1% on bank payments.
Is Bin Boss still around?
Worthd could not confirm it. On Nov 4, 2026 binboss.com redirected to a domain-for-sale page, although Docket's own blog still compares it with Hauler Hero. Hauler Hero's pricing page returned an error when Worthd tried to read it, so its price is not captured here.
Which of these tools has route optimization?
QuoteIQ's pricing page puts route optimization on Elite, $299.99 a month on monthly billing, and above. Dumpster Rental Systems lists Route IQ+ with one driver on Premium, $279.95 a month, plus $25 for each additional driver. Worthd did not confirm which Jobber or Housecall Pro plan includes route optimization, so ask before you pay for a higher plan.
