Does the plan fit your work?
A lower total only helps if the plan handles your daily jobs. Use these checks to choose what to test before you start a trial or request a quote.
Jobber: follow-ups or job costing?
If chasing quotes and invoices is the main problem, ask whether Connect covers your needs before paying for Grow. Jobber lists automated quote/invoice follow-ups in Connect; Grow adds job costing and two-way SMS. Test one quote through acceptance, then one job through its invoice. Check the Jobber plan modeled below.
Housecall Pro: daily routes or route optimization?
Housecall Pro lists routes in Essentials and route optimization plus recurring service plans in Max. Ask the vendor to demonstrate the route or maintenance workflow you need on the plan you would actually buy. Its free trial includes Max features, so a successful trial alone does not confirm a lower tier fits. Check the Housecall Pro plan modeled below.
Tradify: one-off jobs or recurring work?
Tradify lists quoting, scheduling, invoicing and accounting sync in Lite. Pro adds recurring jobs, timesheets and cost/bill tracking. Test a real repeat-job schedule if maintenance is central to your business. The trial includes all features; confirm your chosen paid tier includes what you used. Check the Tradify plan modeled below.
Feature lists checked October 18, 2026 on the vendor pricing pages linked below. Worthd has not tested these workflows hands-on. Confirm your required features and final quote; these examples are not a personalized recommendation.

Jobber currently offers a 14-day Grow trial with no card required. Try a real quote, schedule a job and check the invoice workflow. Before subscribing, confirm which paid plan includes what you used. Trial details checked October 18, 2026.

The three that do not publish a price: what the terms say
Workiz: annual contract (you can pay monthly). Renews for 12 months unless you give 30 days' written notice. Fees non-refundable. Up to a 10% yearly increase on 30 days' notice. Removing users does not lower the price during the term. Terms, checked Oct 6, 2026.
FieldPulse: one-year term that renews yearly. You cannot end it early, and you owe the full term's fees. Cancel with 60 days' written notice before the term ends. Terms, checked Oct 6, 2026.
ServiceTitan: under its default terms, month to month with 30 days' notice, but ending early means paying all remaining payments. A signed order form can set a longer term. Terms, checked Oct 6, 2026.
What this does and does not include
Payment-method sources checked October 18, 2026: Jobber pricing, Jobber Tap to Pay, and Housecall Pro payment processing. Hardware purchases, unknown extra charges, instant payouts, taxes and optional add-ons are excluded. This is a scoped estimate, not a vendor quote.
Subscription snapshots: Jobber’s 2–5-user Grow bundle October 26; other Jobber and Housecall Pro figures October 4; Tradify October 13, 2026. Payment-method sources checked October 18; Jobber cancellation, refunds and data access checked October 27; other exit terms retain the October 6 snapshot. Vendors change them, and your quote can differ. Confirm on the vendor's page before you buy.
Price watch: every price here is re-checked against the vendor's own page at least every 30 days and the last check date is shown on each pricing guide. Changes are logged on Price watch, with old price, new price and source.
Plans differ in features. Jobber Core and Housecall Pro Basic are one-person plans with fewer features. Check each vendor's feature list before you compare totals.
Housecall Pro rates are method-specific for standard cards, not an online 2.59% floor. Its source shows no separate fixed transaction fee; confirm your quote. Amex and business cards are 3.49% by any method. Jobber physical-reader and saved/keyed rates were not independently verified and remain unknown.
Not included: add-ons (for example Jobber Marketing Suite $99 a month, Receptionist $29, Pipeline $49), Housecall Pro add-ons, promotions, taxes, and bank (ACH) payments, which both vendors list at 1%.
Tradify charges per user per month: Lite $47, Pro $51, Plus $61. The calculator uses Pro, the closest to Jobber Grow and Housecall Pro Essentials, and shows Lite as the low end. Tradify publishes no card fees, annual discount or user limits, so its total is software only.
For 2–5 users, the calculator uses the advertised five-user Grow bundle. Larger-team estimates retain the earlier tier-plus-$29-extra-user model. The current pricing page confirms the extra-user rate; plan prices retain their stated snapshot dates. Confirm your total in a written quote. Housecall Pro Essentials includes 5, Max includes 8 and adds $35 per extra person.
